Hastings King Gold is a technology leader with broad expertise spanning cloud architecture, software engineering, cybersecurity, and healthcare IT systems. As IT Director at ClarityPath, he oversees the development, deployment, and security of the Institute's entire digital infrastructure.
One of his landmark contributions to ClarityPath has been directing the implementation of the Institute's REDCap platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS) — a secure, purpose-built environment for medical research data management. This infrastructure enables ClarityPath to ethically collect, store, and analyze research data at scale, in full compliance with healthcare data standards.
Hastings bridges the often-wide gap between clinical research needs and modern technology solutions. He works closely with the research team to ensure that digital tools serve the mission: enabling ClarityPath to conduct rigorous, equitable research without creating technical barriers for participants or staff.
